on December 13, 2024, the “Linglong No.1” world’s first nuclear level transmitter of Hainan Changjiang small reactor, which was manufactured by Shanghai Xingshen Instrument Co., Ltd, was officially shipped from Shanghai Xingshen instrument manufacturing plant.

Under the joint witness of the supervision representative of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., the designers of China Nuclear Power Research and Design Institute, the owner of Hainan Changjiang small reactor and the supervision unit, Shanghai Xingshen Instrument and Instrument Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the procurement and re-inspection of raw materials by virtue of years of profound technical accumulation, perfect production management and nuclear-grade equipment management system, strict process control, on-site lean management and traceability quality records of the whole process, start-up inspection, factory test and factory acceptance of product manufacturing. Shanghai Xingshen Instrument Co., Ltd. Gave full play to its leading role as a backbone, formulated crucial plans and safeguard measures, solved problems in a timely manner, and finally opened up the whole process of the project, realized a breakthrough in the key points of nuclear welding and nuclear nondestructive testing, realized a qualification of important welds such as pressure-bearing parts and mounting brackets, and delivered them with efficient production and high-quality products.

As the world’s first land-based multi-purpose modular small reactor technology demonstration project (ACP100), “Linglong No.1” has advanced innovative technologies such as miniaturization, modularization, integration and non-motivation. It has outstanding advantages such as high safety, wide application, flexible deployment, high equipment maturity and good engineering implementability. It is suitable for urban district heating and industrial process heating, remote areas and mining areas, islands, etc, mobile power and other scenarios of energy supply.
