CNOOC’s first natural gas liquefaction project – Zhuhai

Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. is currently the only general contracting company in China that undertakes offshore oil and natural gas development and construction projects.
Our company has cooperated closely with Zhuhai on the natural gas liquefaction project. After the project is put into operation, the annual output of liquefied natural gas can reach 200 million standard cubic meters, the sales revenue exceeds 700 million yuan, and it can contribute more than 90 million yuan in tax revenue to Zhuhai every year.
The forming project of the land area of the receiving station of the project has been accepted in December last year, and the accumulated investment is about 424 million yuan. After the first phase of the project is put into operation, the LNG processing capacity will reach 3.5 million tons per year, and the designed scale of the main gas transmission line will be 9 billion cubic meters per year. The LNG received and stored in Zhuhai will be directly supplied to Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Guangzhou, Foshan, etc. through pipelines There are many cities on the west bank of the Pearl River, and the annual output value is expected to reach 10 billion yuan.
The construction of such a natural gas liquefaction plant can make full use of the abundant natural gas resources on the sea, and develop the uneconomical market for long-distance pipeline transportation. Capability of peak shaving and emergency gas source. And it will break PetroChina’s natural gas monopoly in the mainland, bringing more benefits to the general public.
